At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND). Our mission is to uplift those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

As part of our team, you will be supported by dedicated SEN/SEND Support Specialists, ensuring that you have the resources and guidance needed to succeed in every placement.

Your Role as a SEN/SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools, helping them navigate their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to each student's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and prepare each tutoring session to ensure engaging and effective learning experiences.
* Deliver holistic sessions that meet the educational and social-emotional needs of each student.
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, particularly with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.
* Safeguarding Knowledge: Understanding of safeguarding processes is essential.
* DBS Check: Enhanced DBS required (we can assist with this).
* References: Two professional references needed.
* Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.
It’s crucial that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This role involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* We do not guarantee a set amount of work or expenses coverage.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
