Head of Systems Implementation – Pricing & Market Access (NAVLIN)
This role offers significant growth potential to lead the NAVLIN Market Access & Pricing Systems Implementation Services practice within an integrated delivery model, addressing strategic customer needs. The ideal candidate is proficient in pricing software, data analytics, and systems implementation consulting, capable of engaging with clients at all levels and leading teams to deliver innovative, technology-enabled solutions across the product lifecycle. The role involves supporting senior management in strategic planning, developing packaged consulting services, and expanding a global team of over 200 professionals serving diverse markets worldwide.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with clients to define and understand their pricing and access challenges, and work towards achieving desired outcomes.
* Coordinate with software and data product teams to adapt offerings to emerging client needs, improving quality and reducing costs.
* Lead projects to optimize client pricing and access strategies and monitor market landscapes.
* Manage and develop global teams across multiple regions, enhancing their knowledge and capabilities.
* Achieve financial and growth targets for the practice.
* Support sales, project planning, and delivery related to pricing and market access.
* Innovate and adapt solutions considering regulatory changes, new technologies like AI and machine learning, and evolving market dynamics.
* Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
People Leadership:
* Oversee departmental operations and develop strategic visions for the market access systems implementation marketplace.
* Set and drive organizational goals, foster scalability, and establish performance standards.
* Manage personnel actions, including performance reviews, promotions, and disciplinary measures.
Job Expectations:
* Travel approximately 1-2 days per week within Europe, with potential for more during peak periods, including occasional trips to the USA or Asia.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree required.
* At least 5 years of experience in price and access consulting, preferably with a major firm like Accenture or PWC.
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and experience with life sciences pricing software such as NAVLIN, ModelN, Access Infinity, Pricia, or Inpharmation.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Advanced degree (MBA, Economics, Health Policy) is a plus.
* Experience with both consulting firms and life sciences manufacturers is advantageous.
* Certification in data analytics and experience with business intelligence and financial systems are preferred.
