About Our Client
My client is a specialist manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Gosport.
Job Description
3. Ensure accurate due dates on all outstanding purchase orders.
4. All orders to have been confirmed by the supplier.
5. Aggressive chase down of suppliers.
6. Expedite all overdue orders and update due dates.
7. Daily monitoring of the shortage note system
8. Organise sub-assembly operations without workers and internal suppliers.
9. Run Stock Requisition Worksheet as requested to ensure materials are purchased in due time for production and sales.
10. Place all non-stock orders using the most cost-effective means of supply.
11. Run the production planning worksheet subcontract element
12. Communicate between sales and production any issues relating to shortages and quality.
13. Maintain scrap log and liaise with shop floor staff
14. Maintain COSHH sheets for Health & Safety
The Successful Applicant
You will have worked in previous roles within administration or other office based roles.
