Full-Time History Teacher (Temporary Cover)
Location: Secondary School, Preston
Contract: Full-time, Temporary
Dates: 3rd November – 19th December
Salary: Dependent on experience (in line with national teaching pay scales)
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to join our committed and supportive secondary school team in Preston. This is a full-time temporary position, covering from 3rd November until 19th December.
About the Role:
* Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and informative lessons
* Inspire a love of learning and historical inquiry among students of varying abilities
* Work collaboratively within the Humanities Department to plan, assess and support student progress
* Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching History at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
* Ability to engage and motivate students
* A commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of all students
