Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are very excited to be offering a PERMANENT, FULL-TIME opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR driver with our client in Bournemouth.
For this role you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely distribution of land fuels to customers throughout the UK. The Driver will be responsible for the collection of products at strategic supply points and will ensure timely UK-wide distribution.
Position: HGV Class 2 ADR Driver
Days: Monday-Friday with Winter Saturday rota
Start date: ASAP
Location: Bournemouth
Pay Rate: £40,000 per year (OTE). Plus opportunity to earn more.
Responsibilities:
1. Driving the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with all current legislation and company guidelines
2. Ensuring that the vehicle is in a safe & legal condition
3. Ability to work across a 7-day shift pattern
4. Loading & discharging in a sensible manner and in accordance with company policy & procedures
5. Loading from terminals (fuel samples must be taken at terminal and on site)
Requirements:
6. HGV Class 2 Category C driving licence
7. ADR Class 3 & Tanks
8. Drivers Qualification Card
9. Digital Tacho Card
10. Strong customer service skills and values. Strong values and ethos around health and safety
11. Experience working with hazardous liquid products is desirable
12. Experience loading products from terminals is desirable
13. Willingness to work increased hours during peak trading times andto be redeployed to alternative depot locations in proximity as required on an ad hoc basis is essential
