The Opportunity

* Nuclear Energy Projects – Design, construct, maintain, commission or de‑commission nuclear facilities, safeguarding national security.
* Defence Infrastructure – Upgrade military facilities, develop cyber‑security systems and manage Defence logistics for the UK’s resilience.
* Transportation & Infrastructure – Improve railways, roads and public transport systems, enhancing connectivity and safety.
* HVAC & Building Services – Design, install and commission HVAC systems across critical infrastructure and large‑scale building projects.
* Energy & Environment – Work on renewable energy projects such as wind farms, carbon‑reduction initiatives, and nuclear decommissioning.
What We’re Looking For
* Project Management – Experience in managing operations, coordinating teams, or delivering projects under pressure.
* Mechanical, Electrical & HVAC Engineering – Hands‑on technical experience in mechanical, electrical or HVAC systems.
* Commissioning & Operational Roles – Leadership in ensuring systems meet operational standards and regulatory requirements.
* Leadership & Operational Roles – Experience in logistics or crisis management that drives project success.
Your Role
* Lead or contribute to multi‑disciplinary teams delivering large‑scale projects on time and within budget.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project needs and provide innovative solutions.
* Ensure safety, risk management and operational efficiency across project phases, especially in high‑security sectors.
* Commission and validate complex mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems, meeting all safety and regulatory standards.
* Apply strategic planning and problem‑solving skills to overcome project challenges and optimise delivery.
About You
* Proven leadership, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills from a military or emergency services background.
* Experience in project management, engineering or technical operations.
* Mechanical, electrical or HVAC engineering experience.
* Familiarity with commissioning processes for building services or energy systems.
* Strong ability to manage risks, ensure safety and maintain operational excellence under pressure.
* Ability to work in cross‑functional teams, communicate effectively and build strong relationships.
