Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Groundworker for an on-going project in Eastbourne
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out all aspects of groundworks including drainage, concreting, kerbing, paving, and ducting.
* Prepare and level ground for foundations, footings, and slabs.
* Install and maintain drainage, utilities, and ducting systems.
* Operate small plant and equipment safely (when trained).
* Read site drawings and work to levels and specifications.
* Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to deliver quality work on time.
* Maintain a safe, tidy, and organised site.
* Represent the company professionally, demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
Key Requirements
* Valid CSCS Card.
* NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Groundworks.
* EUSR Cat 1 & 2 certification.
* Street Works (NRSWA) Units 1–9.
* Safety Critical Medical certification.
* Valid Dumper, Roller, and Excavator (Digger) tickets.
* Proven experience working as a Groundworker within civil engineering or construction projects.
* Strong awareness of health & safety and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
