To support this, Sandwell Children's Trust are seeking to recruit an Engagement Lead to build relationships with all Families First stakeholders, increasing awareness of the programme and gaining operational and strategic support for the model. Key responsibilities: To support the Programme Manager To act as the engagement lead for the Families First programme, mapping relevant stakeholders and audiences, and developing an engagement plan to ensure that the right messages get to the right audience at the right time. To work collaboratively with to other members of the programme team or colleagues in other service areas as appropriate, to ensure that the plan is delivered. To take ownership of partner engagement through meaningful collaboration, consultation and negotiation with stakeholders, utilising highly developed skills of persuasion To design and develop coherent and engaging messaging to a range of partner organisations in support of the Families First programme. To devise and implement creative and innovative solutions to a range of engagement challenges across the Families First partnership Work closely with the Families First Communications Lead and partnership communications teams on the design and implementation of relevant materials across digital, face to face and print channels. Deliver talks/workshops at, and attend, events, seminars and conferences to promote the Families First Programme. Support delivery of our Family First Information Events. Identify opportunities for new events and support wider comms teams as necessary. Engage in working groups and to help rais ethe profile of the Families First programme. Build effective partnerships and proactively develop activities with key organisations across public, private and third sectors. To produce and present accurate and detailed reports and briefings, both verbally and in writing Person requirements: At least 4 years’ experience working in an engagement role Excellent relationship skills with the ability to articulate and sell concepts to Trust, council and partner staff, senior leadership, children, young people, families and members of the public.
