Role Description
* This is a full-time on-site role located in Ilkeston for a Field Sales Representative. The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential and existing customers, and identifying sales opportunities and trends. Daily tasks include visiting client sites, providing product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, preparing sales reports, and collaborating with the internal sales and marketing teams. Ideally based North Nottinghamshire - Area to grow with existing and new business in the Sheffield/Leeds/Doncaster
Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven experience in sales and customer relationship management
* Ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities
* Knowledge of packaging products and industry trends
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
* Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client visits
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the packaging sector within assigned territory.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand client packaging needs and propose tailored solutions.
* Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, logistics) to ensure seamless delivery and execution of customer requirements.
* Prepare and deliver quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales contracts in alignment with company goals.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline development, and customer interactions in CRM system.
* Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in packaging.
* Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
* Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer networking functions to represent the company and build brand presence.
