Reporting to the FP&A Manager this role offers an exciting opportunity to learn and develop in a financial role while working closely with the Marketing and Operations functions.
Objectives
To lead, process and record all transactions for the TREND E-Commerce Amazon accounts during an exciting period of global growth, including management of global inventory levels. This aspect of the role includes internal reporting and regular meetings with the Marketing team.
To lead, process and manage inventory cycle count processes across our global entities with a high degree of accuracy, to ensure our global customers can Depend on Us. This aspect of the role includes regular meetings and working closely with the Operations team that cover supply chain, service and warehouse.
Key Accountabilities
Amazon and E-Commerce Shops:
* Monitoring global external e-commerce stock levels and replenishing as appropriate.
* Recording all associated financial transactions.
* Processing invoices for end users in relation to e-commerce transactions with correct VAT management etc.
* Processing stock transactions for the movement of goods.
* Processing all transactions for returns.
* Monthly reconciliation of global external stock held in e-commerce facilities.
* Sales Ledger reconciliation of Amazon e-commerce accounts.
* Stock reconciliation of current, in transit, returns etc.
* Monthly reporting of sales and stock for internal use.
* Regular internal meetings with Sales & Marketing.
* Identify and resolve risks within ecommerce.
* Facilitating global roll out of new shops.
Inventory Processes:
* Manage global weekly inventory cycle counts.
* Create weekly count sheets to issue internally.
* Work with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate cycle count outputs.
* Posting any cycle count outputs to ensure accurate current stock levels.
* Reporting of cycle count variances and any trends or notable investigation outputs.
* Identify areas of friction or inaccuracy within the purchase, sales and shipping functions affecting inventory.
* Work with stakeholders to review current working practices.
* Implement and document process improvements.
* Ensure accurate and informative reporting for internal use.
* Monthly internal reporting.
* Regular internal meetings with global Warehouse and Operations teams.
* Ongoing monitoring and review.
* Posting of monthly inventory journals.
Change Management:
Identify alternative ways of working, utilising current systems and resources more effectively with the aim of reducing friction. Proactively lead change and ensure engagement throughout all teams, to promote our key mantra of Pace, Precision and Partnership.
About you:
Required Skills:
* Knowledge of inventory accounting and principles.
* Knowledge of accounts receivable impacts on Inventory.
* Experience using Microsoft Outlook
* Experience using Microsoft Excel
* Able communicator to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work on own initiatives.
* Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central
* Proven Skills in reconciliation of inventory accounts and WIP/In Transit elements.
* Proven Excel and data manipulation skills.
* Experience of leading change.
* Ability to produce precise and engaging reports.
