Proclinical is seeking a Communications Associate to join a dynamic team in Basingstoke. This role focuses on both external and internal communications within the pharmaceutical industry, with an emphasis on media relations and strategic storytelling. You will play a key role in managing press office operations, designing communication strategies, and fostering engagement across various stakeholders. The position requires working in the office 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
* Lead daily press office operations, including media monitoring, response coordination, and proactive outreach.
* Develop and execute strategic media activities for clinical trial data and regulatory milestones.
* Support and prepare senior leaders for external engagements and media opportunities.
* Create and manage corporate campaigns on social media platforms, primarily LinkedIn.
* Maintain and update corporate content on external websites.
* Build and nurture relationships with journalists, influencers, and external stakeholders.
* Design and implement an internal communications strategy for the Northern European Hub.
* Develop engaging content to highlight leadership and amplify key milestones internally.
* Drive employee engagement through clear, transparent, and inspiring messaging.
* Collaborate with HR and business unit leads to support change communications and cultural initiatives.
Key Skills and Requirements:
* Proven experience in media relations and strategic communications.
* Strong writing and storytelling skills tailored to diverse audiences.
* Ability to work effectively across multiple markets and within a global matrixed organization.
* Familiarity with regulated environments, preferably in pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
* Background in journalism, communications, public policy, or related fields is advantageous.
* Experience with social media platforms and corporate campaigns.
* Proficiency with AI tools and data analytics platforms is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
