We have a great opportunity now available to join a growing Insurance Broker in Croydon. This broker is growth‑focussed and expanding rapidly, and are now seeking an experienced broking professional to join them to take on an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on Office Manager to lead and support their high‑performing commercial insurance teams. The role is ideal for a current team leader or experienced commercial account handler looking to step up into a leadership and operations‑focused role, driving team performance while remaining client‑centric.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support high‑volume SME commercial insurance teams.
* Manage the telephony teams aligned to the Croydon office: Sales team (6 people – 3 Croydon sales, 1 Croydon development manager and 2 based in Scotland) and Existing Business team (7 people – 1 Croydon team leader, 4 Croydon account handlers, 1 based in the Midlands and 1 based in Scotland).
* Hands‑on involvement with the Sales team (no Team Leader) and overall responsibility for both Sales and Existing Business teams.
* Oversee figures, quotes, leads, audits, training, insurer training, 121s and some HR assistance.
Qualifications
* Commercial insurance sales experience, ideally dealing with SME products.
* Some management experience.
* Cert CII would be great (though not essential).
* Acturis experience preferred.
Benefits
* Hybrid working – office days Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
* Salary on offer £45 k‑£60 k, depending on experience.
* 25 days annual leave.
* 8% non‑contributory pension.
