Description
Safely performs welding and all duties associated with the construction, maintenance, and operations of company pipeline, compressor, production, gathering, and storage facilities. Responds to emergencies and is available for scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Nothing in this job summary restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associate degree in welding, welding certificate, or equivalent work experience acceptable to the Company.
* Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work independently.
* Valid motor vehicle driver's license and compliance with applicable DOT commercial driver requirements (medical card, log book).
* Possess or acquire valid crane operator's certification as required.
* Ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
* Protect networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber threats.
* Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships considered.
* Pre-employment background check and drug testing required.
* Travel with overnight stays may be required.
* Must pass company welder qualification test or be currently qualified.
* Ability to be certified to wear a respirator if required.
* Meet all requirements to become DOT operator qualified in assigned tasks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Welding certificate.
* Knowledge of natural gas pipeline maintenance, construction activities, processes, operations, and related DOT and OSHA regulations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform welding duties.
* Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
