Learning & Development Manager
Belfast – Food Manufacturing
I’m working with a growing food manufacturer in Northern Ireland looking to appoint a Learning & Development Manager to build and lead the training function across the business.
This is a newly created role with responsibility for developing, implementing and continuously improving learning and development across production, technical and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the site learning & development strategy
* Build training matrices across all departments
* Design onboarding and competency-based training programmes
* Support production leadership with skills development
* Ensure compliance with food safety and customer standards
* Work cross-functionally with Operations, Technical and HR
* Track training effectiveness and competency progression
* Drive continuous improvement in capability across the site
Ideal Background
* Learning & Development / Training experience in manufacturing
* Food manufacturing experience highly desirable
* Experience building training frameworks from scratch
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Hands-on and structured approach
