HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver | Stevenage
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver in Stevenage to join a well-established waste management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for long-term, ongoing work — with the potential to become a permanent role for the right driver.

đź’· Salary: ÂŁ17.50 per hour (Time and a half on Saturdays during Bank Holiday weeks, double time on Bank Holidays)
⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, minimum 8 hours per day
đź“Ś Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing Temp (Temp to Perm potential)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive and operate a Class 2 dustcart vehicle safely and efficiently
2. Assist the crew with residential and commercial waste collections as needed
3. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults
4. Comply with all health and safety and road transport regulations
5. Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
Essential Skills & Experience:
6. Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
7. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
8. Previous dustcart or refuse collection experience preferred
9. Good level of physical fitness (some manual handling involved)
10. Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude
