Job Opportunity: Health and Social Care Lecturer (Foundation Degree) – Merseyside
Contract: Part time, Temporary (May consider full time) • Level: Foundation Degree • Start Date: ASAP
Eden Brown are currently recruiting for a dynamic and knowledgeable Lecturer to join a welcoming and supportive college in Merseyside, delivering high-quality teaching on the Health and Social Care Foundation Degree.
The Role
As a Lecturer in Health and Social Care, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, industry-relevant teaching and assessment to foundation degree students. You\'ll contribute to curriculum development, provide academic support, and inspire the next generation of care professionals.
This is a part time role of 22 hours per week. All the work is set and there will be no prep or marking to do.
Requirements
* A degree in Health and Social Care or a closely related subject (essential)
* Teaching experience in a further or higher education setting
* A teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) is advantageous
* Strong understanding of current health and social care practices and policy
* Ability to motivate and support diverse learners
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality teaching sessions to foundation degree students
* Develop learning materials and assessments in line with awarding body requirements
* Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support
* Contribute to course planning and curriculum development
* Maintain accurate records in line with college policies
A current DBS is also needed for this role.
