Commercial Account Handler
Flexible on Salary | Progression-First Business
"What if this was the last job move you needed to make?"
If you're an experienced Commercial Account Handler who knows your way around Property, Liability, and Fleet, and you're wondering what's next — this could be it.
We're hiring on behalf of a respected independent broker who doesn't just say they develop people — they prove it. Former Account Handlers have progressed into Senior roles, Operations leadership, and even shareholder positions. One-on-one support, tailored development plans, and real investment in your future aren't promised here — they're expected.
This is the kind of place where:
* You're encouraged to bring ideas to the table (Direct quote from the Director: "We don't believe we have all the answers”)
* You'll work alongside both seasoned pros and up-and-comers, in a team that values learning and growth
* You're rewarded quarterly for the retention of your clients, earning an extra £3-4k per year, on average
The Role (you already know the drill, but here's the rundown):
* Manage a portfolio of Commercial clients alongside experienced Account Executives
* Handle renewals, MTAs, quotes and day-to-day client service
* Use your knowledge of Property, Liability, and Fleet to give solid, client-focused advice
* Navigate insurer relationships and place business with confidence
* Contribute in meetings – your ideas are wanted, not just tolerated
"Just imagine how it would feel to finally be in a business where your potential isn't capped…"
You'll need:
* Solid experience as a Commercial Account Handler in a broking environment
* Strong working knowledge of Property, Liability, and Fleet policies
* Confidence in working with clients and Account Execs directly
* A proactive mindset — someone who cares about doing it right
Salary is flexible, and genuinely based on experience. They hire based on the person, not just the CV.
If this feels like exactly the right kind of next step, reach out for a brief, confidential chat. No pressure, just to understand if it is worth you progressing.
