Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Facilities Manager to support the Building Safety Team on a temporary basis. This is an office-based role, offering the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring compliance and safety across a varied residential property portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and technical support to ensure smooth operations for building and safety management.
* Manage compliance records and support with building and fire safety documentation.
* Coordinate communications with property managers and external stakeholders.
* Assist with responses to enforcement and safety notices.
* Maintain efficient systems to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and compliant with regulations.
Qualifications
* Experience in facilities management or building safety.
* Ideally hold a recognised qualification such as NEBOSH Fire Safety Level 3 (or equivalent).
* Good understanding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Building Safety Act 2022, and related legislation.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, liaise with a range of stakeholders, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Package
* Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (office-based in Borehamwood)
* Salary up to £45,000 per annum pro rata
* Onsite parking
