About the Role
Join our Quality team in Brighton as an EMCTest Engineer, where you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet compliance standards. You'll carry out EMC and environmental testing for Paxton and external customer products in our ISO17025 accredited test facility. This is a hands‑on role in a collaborative environment, perfect for someone passionate about electronics and compliance testing.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform EMC and environmental testing on products to defined standards.
* Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
* Manage daily, weekly, and monthly internal calibration tasks.
* Organise and maintain compliance documentation for products.
* Act as the first point of contact for compliance queries, managing the inbox and supporting internal and external teams.
* Contribute to continuous improvement within the test facility.
What We're Looking For
* Hands‑on experience in electronics testing or a strong background in electronics is essential.
* Previous exposure to EMC testing in a laboratory or compliance environment would be advantageous.
* Relevant qualification in electronics or a related discipline.
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and documentation.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
