Aspion Search represents a steel construction company in their search for a Senior Structural Design Engineer to join their design team due to a continued pipeline of high-profile, technically demanding projects.

The Role of the Senior Structural Design Engineer
* Deliver high-quality structural designs for steel frameworks and complex connections
* Conduct manual and software-based calculations to British and Eurocode standards
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients throughout project lifecycles
* Maintain effective client relationships to support repeat business and referrals
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
* Attend design meetings and contribute to technical discussions
About the Senior Structural Design Engineer
* Degree qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering (ideally working toward Chartered status)
* Minimum 8 years’ experience in UK-based structural steel design
* Previous experience with a UK-based steelwork fabricator
* Proven experience in steelwork frame and connection design
* Proficient in Tekla Structural Designer, Masterseries, S-Frame, IDEA StatiCa
* Strong knowledge of British and European design standards
* Confident producing both manual and software-based calculations
* Experience in temporary works design (desirable)
