Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Winsford who are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 department. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who is considering a career in teaching but wanting to gain further experience within a school.
About the role:
* Start-date: 1st September
* Full-time role
* Ongoing/long-term with opportunity for permanent contract with the school
As a Teaching Assistant within the KS1 department, you will work closely with both class teachers to identify learning gaps and create and implement individualised learning support plans. You will work 1-1 and in small groups with young students providing intervention support with core subjects. Additionally, you will assist all pupils with their social and emotional development and managing behaviour following the school’s policy.

* Experience working with young children (in any setting)
* A genuine passion for improving the lives of young people socially, emotionally and academically
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience and empathy when working with young people
* Safeguarding training (must be done upon registering with Teaching Personnel)
