ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to company expansion, my client is recruiting permanently for a Permitting Development Manager to join their Strategic Development team. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering operational and regulatory services which are essential to protect and improve land. You will work closely with the operational teams, providing technical advice and support. Key responsibilities will be drafting environmental permits and permit variations for new and existing treatment activities as well as ensuring compliance and managing reports for existing permits.
REQUIREMENTS
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must hold at least 5 years proven experience in the contaminated land or waste industry and a very good understanding of UK permitting regulations.
Due to site locations, you must be willing to travel throughout the UK and therefore hold a full UK driving license. This opportunity can be based from their office in Cardiff or Warrington however hybrid working is available.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
For this opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere between £40,000 – £47,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability.
In addition to this, a generous package is offered which includes a car allowance, subsistence for working away, 25 days annual leave plus hank holidays, private health care, enrolment on to their pension scheme, paid volunteering days and professional membership fees will be covered.
