Full-Time Graduate Teaching Assistant (Ages 11-16)

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school located on the Wirral. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community. This full-time, term-time-only role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates considering a career in education, or those looking to gain valuable experience working with young people aged 11-16.
Key Requirements:
A recent degree (any subject considered - education, psychology, English, and science particularly welcome)
Experience working with young people is desirable (this could include mentoring, tutoring, youth work, or classroom support)
A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
Confidence working 1:1 or in small groups, including with pupils who have additional learning needs
A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of young people
