We have an exciting opportunity for a L&D Coordinator to join us and help keep our Learning Engine room on track! This role is for a key member of our L&D team bringing incredible administration and organisational skills with you. Who are we looking for? We’ll just say it, we are looking for someone who loves keeping things on track! We need ninja like admin skills, an obsession with detail and getting it right, throw into the mix being able to juggle a ringing phone, teams chats, a pinging inbox and 85 last minute changes to requests…! You must like working as part of a team as that’s the way we like it here! You will thrive when you’re busy and work well under pressure, you’ll be able to follow processes and procedures (and tweak them when we need to) and have a get it done mentality. You’re likely to be a chatty person who loves to get to know people, after all it’s what we are all about, but you will also be able to focus and keep a very busy bookings team on the straight and narrow! You will like challenging the norm and speaking up when you have ideas or solutions. You’ll enjoy some fun as our team is a great place to work. Life is busy here, but we enjoy ourselves and you’ll be doing worthwhile work. The main part of your role is booking training for all our teams across our growing business. Whether it’s a webinar, face to face course, or a piece of eLearning, there’s always someone who is coordinating how it happens – that’s you! You’ll be primarily booking professional qualifications ranging from basic first aid to the most complex chainsaw courses all in a day’s work. Don’t worry, we’ll give you the details! The role you play will truly be critical for the entire business because without you and your team members, learning doesn’t happen. You’ll be flexible, innovative, and willing to work hard but with a solid purpose every day. We think this role would do great in our Billericay office, but we are open to suggestions. It’s most definitely a hybrid role so you’ll need to enjoy also working from home and need super strong Wi-Fi to be effective! We will of course supply full training both when you join, and as you go along to help you do the job well and develop you for the future. The L&D team is fun, passionate and loves what they do, so you’ll need to show those same qualities to hit the ground running and help them smash their goals. We all work hard to maintain Psychological Safety which we’ve developed over the last couple of years. You’ll be focused on the below: Booking high volumes of varied training requests training for people all over the UK Managing a very busy shared inbox Matching Training Requests to Qualifications Uploading Digital Materials Taking calls and solving problems via phone, teams or email. Updating spreadsheets and budget trackers Using Microsoft systems to help you like One Drive, Outlook, One Note, Excel, Word and PowerPoint Coordinating people, training and places using a training matrix to guide you Planning events from start to finish, liaising with suppliers Building relationships with internal customer and external suppliers Working closely with Finance and Procurement teams Working on bespoke learning requests from the business Evaluation of programmes to prove ROI Supplier Feedback and performance surveys Booking hotels and meeting rooms Raising digital credit cards and using Dynamics system Communicating and selling our offer across the business Helping us create a culture of learning across a growing business Why join us: Career Development Focus: We’re committed to supporting your professional growth with clear career paths, training, and tailored development programs, including our GC Leadership Academy, job specific accreditations and higher education opportunities.
