Dimensions is a leading social care provider in England and Wales, supporting people with learning disabilities and autism.
We are looking for Support Workers to join our team in the Chandlers Ford area. Whether you have experience or not, we will support you to reach your full potential by providing training, guidance, and support to complete your care certificate and further qualifications.
You will support 2 men and 2 women across two bungalows in a beautiful area, close to The Hit (Hiltingbury Community Centre). The individuals you support enjoy activities such as outings, listening to music, musicals, fishing, long drives, dining out, and community days.
Shift Pattern: Long days from 7am to 8pm, on a rota basis, with schedules provided 4 weeks in advance.
The role involves:
1. Providing full support with personal care and manual handling
2. Meal preparation
3. Supporting with shopping, housework, cleaning, and laundry
4. Supporting with medication administration
5. Encouraging participation in preferred activities
