Job Title: Semi Senior Accountant
We are seeking a full-time Semi Senior Accountant to join one of our clients located in Shoreham-By Sea. The role involves working full-time hours per week. This position requires someone with strong client communication skills, serving as the primary point of contact for account-related inquiries. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with clients both over the phone and in person.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as the first point of contact for client inquiries regarding accounts.
2. Provide direct assistance to clients over the phone and in face-to-face meetings.
3. Possess proficiency in Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks, with the ability to train clients on these accounting packages.
4. Maintain computer literacy and be willing to undertake internal IT tasks such as software updates.
5. Preferably located within proximity to our office.
6. Experience in payroll, corporate, and personal tax matters is beneficial but not mandatory.
7. Background in a practice environment is preferred over industry experience.
8. Willingness to undergo training, with the option of pursuing ACCA or ACA qualifications.
