Job Opportunity: Business Development Manager (East Anglia & North London)
My client, a leading supplier of professional coating products and services, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join their team. This role covers the East Anglia region and part of North London.
Candidate Profile: Successful candidates will be proactive sales professionals with a true HUNTER approach, ideally with experience in the coating industry (Automotive Refinishing, Industrial, Wood Coatings, Light Industrial, Refinishing).
Location & Compensation: This is a remote opportunity with trips to the head office near Portsmouth as needed. Salary ranges from £44,000 to £50,000 + DOE, with an OTE of £80,000+ (uncapped).

Role Responsibilities:
1. Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services.
2. Establish new business through an active sales pipeline, recorded in SharePoint.
3. Implement new business initiatives aligned with the company's strategic goals.
4. Identify and connect with the appropriate contacts within target organizations.
5. Meet with customers/clients face-to-face, over the phone, or via video calls.
6. Record all visits and interactions using the current reporting system.
7. Develop and maintain strong internal and external business relationships.
8. Identify key development areas within the customer portfolio.
9. Maintain a customer database for mailshot campaigns via head office.
10. Gather and report competitor and market intelligence.
11. Handover new accounts to the regional team after an initial three-month account development period.
