We are seeking a seasoned executive for the position of VP Delivery in Digital Business (Head of Delivery Segment). This role strategically manages over 700 personnel, focusing on scaling the business. The primary responsibility is to shape the delivery strategy within the area of oversight and contribute directly to the company's overall strategy. The objectives align with top-level company goals and the growth of the Delivery Segment.Besides collaborating with the Leadership Team to shape delivery strategy, responsibilities include supervising a large engineering organization, managing performance and finances, contributing to sales and presales efforts, and fostering account growth. The role reports to the Chief Delivery Officer (C-level).Responsibilities:Lead Delivery Organization:Guide a team of directors to deliver high-quality services to clientsDevelop and implement best practices and processes to enhance efficiency and qualityExplore and adopt new technologies and tools to foster innovation and efficiencyPromote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within delivery teamsBuild Trust with Key Clients and Support Business Development:Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and develop tailored solutionsMaintain strong relationships with key clients for seamless project delivery and ongoing successParticipate in top-priority pre-sales activities, providing guidance and support to ensure sales successWork closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute segment strategiesStay at the Forefront of Technology Innovation:Identify and evaluate emerging technologies applicable to our solutions and servicesDevelop and implement an innovation strategy aligned with business goalsKeep abreast of latest software engineering trends and technologies to maintain industry leadershipRequirements:At least 10 years of experience in Software Engineering and Outsourcing within a large, well-established company (3000+ employees)Proven experience managing an engineering organization of 700+ people with measurable resultsStrong skills in program and portfolio management, agile methodologiesDeep expertise in modern software engineering practices and trends; experience as a solution architect is advantageousComprehensive understanding of Digital business and IT landscapeVisionary leadership with entrepreneurial and management skillsStrategic planning and execution capabilitiesProactive, goal-oriented, and willing to go the extra mileThorough knowledge of large IT outsourcing organizational structures, governance, processes, and financial managementExperience in business development, sales, and presales managementFinancial acumen, including P&L management for large service organizationsMaster's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related; MBA or similar is a plusFluent in English, both written and spoken
