Marketing Manager Reports to Global Marketing Director
Location: UK – Kent or Wolverhampton area to commute to local office 3-5 days/week (remaining days of the week to work from home) and opposing office as needed. Candidates applying from Sydney, Australia will also be considered.
Up to 15% travel time – some international travel but mostly domestic
Flexibility on work hours – This role is full time and due to our regions being in the UK, AUS, and USA, the position requires full flexibility to capture all time zones.

Role
This role is highly collaborative with local and international employees to allow for marketing support in all our 3 regions, AUS, US & UK. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will run coordination, implementation and enhancement of the local UK and AUS marketing communications strategy and programs, including advertising, email communications, branding, product, and promotion. As well as designs, develops and distributes consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all communication touchpoints. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for coordinating, planning, and running all UK and AUS events. This will include external events within the industry we exhibit at. Most importantly organising our corporate annual conference, this is the main company showcase event for our customers, prospects, and industry peers alike.
The role includes marketing generalist responsibilities for the company’s local UK and AUS messaging, local market relationships (associations, press, and events) management in the UK and AUS. It supports the execution of activities associated with each regional marketing plan and leads on CriticalArc’s GTM strategy, as well as coordination of broader marketing activities. We are seeking a self-starting, dynamic, ambitious individual to help fuel our fast-paced, customer-centric innovation-driven growth, supporting the Global Marketing Director and Marketing Communications Manager (both based in Colorado) in the development and delivery of CriticalArc’s global marketing initiatives in key markets: namely the UK/Europe and Australia and New Zealand.
Primary Accountabilities
* Work with our US-based Marketing Comms Manager on the development and execution of CriticalArc’s social media strategy to exponentially grow our presence and improve engagement (LinkedIn primarily), including editorial planning and scheduling of topical content for a range of stakeholder groups across local markets.
* Work with the Marketing Director to define, build, and retain target audiences through various channels and tactics i.e. Google ads, sponsored ads, and other technologies to reach target audiences.
* Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for each communications channel which will indicate a campaign's level of success. Develop a content marketing strategy and provide regular reporting.
* Work with the Marketing Director on coordination and execution of marketing activities to drive our regional plans aligned to sales priorities, including events, content marketing, and asset creation/activities (press releases, case studies, corporate communications, etc.).
* Manage UK and AUS marketing communications and relationships with partner associations, to extract maximum value through regular engagement and delivery of various activities, including events, editorial, and other channels.
* To be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and adherence of processes for UK and AUS-based events (CriticalArc proprietary events, events with 3rd parties, presence at conferences, and our partner events) to ensure operational efficiency and the standardization of events management.
Secondary Accountabilities
* Support ad hoc activities as and when required, including lead management, HubSpot management, website updates, email campaign creation/maintenance, light Adobe design work, light video production/editing, reporting/data analysis, and general sales enablement.
* Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Key Requirements
* Marketing or business-related degree or equivalent marketing qualifications
* 5+ years’ experience ina marketing role with a proven track record, preferably in a B2B environment
* Experience working with Google Ads, SEO, and Google Keywords
* Experience writing, proofing, and editing copy for websites, brochures, emails, and other marketing content
* Experience and preference for storytelling writing style
* Understanding of social media strategy, content marketing strategy, metrics, and reporting
* Understanding of B2B buyers’ journey frameworks, nurturing, and account-based marketing principles
* Ability to work within the context of marketing/sales alignment and towards a planned strategy and objectives for growth
* Experience working in a lean team is a plus, but not required
* Develop collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders and agencies if applicable
* Seek opportunities to use relevant and new delivery formats for digital including video, social media carousels, and infographics that can be evaluated for performance and ROI
* Keeping abreast of market trends, key issues, and competitors and transferring this to editorial/content opportunities
* Ensure marketing activities are developed with the approval of business stakeholders or customers and adhere to brand guidelines.
* Disciplined use of shared scheduling and project management tools such as Trello to ensure the status of tasks is continuously monitored and updated
* Personally flexible and consultative
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency in CRM marketing automation systems, i.e., HubSpot
* Preference for experience working with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, and WordPress for the design of brochures, ads, and other content, and video editing and production
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Flexible working hours to accommodate for global collaboration in all 3 regions
* Flexibility to work with global teams, reporting lines to the US
* Demonstrate ongoing self-development with self-directed learning to acquire new marketing technical skills
* A high level of attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
* A tenacious, self-starter attitude to overcoming barriers and delivery of activity in a timely and reliable manner
* A keen eye for design and high-quality visual presentation of communications
