Interim Accountant/Finance Manager – Redruth
Trial Balance Consulting are working with a well-respected Cornwall-based company to recruit an Interim Senior Accountant/Finance Manager for a 2–3 month contract. Flexible hours (full or part-time) and on-site working.
This is a hands‑on, senior role, working closely with the senior members of the company to manage the small but mighty finance function, strengthen processes, support growth and cover a busy period.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
* Produce accounts to trial balance and lead month‑end close
* Prepare management accounts, reporting, and financial analysis
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning
* Maintain fixed asset register and oversee petty cash
* Strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
About You
* Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
* Confident, practical, and ready to start immediately
