About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Systems & Controls Analyst to join our Finance team in Aberdeen. This role is responsible for managing Delegation of Authority (DoA), user provisioning, and system access controls across financial systems. You will help ensure that systems are secure, compliant, and operating efficiently, supporting both the Finance function and wider business operations.
This position is suitable for professionals with experience in finance systems, SAP access or security, financial controls, or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility, and Competence
Direct SAP Support
* Undertake end-to-end user role provisioning within S4 Hana.
* Maintain system DoA and Segregation of Duties (SoD) compliance across all associated systems.
* Support the business as the subject matter expert in workflow management.
* Troubleshoot any DoA or user provisioning system issues.
* Undertake quarterly cross-system DoA reconciliations.
* Support the Global Organisation in user role provisioning.
* Perform system functional integrity testing where appropriate.
* Conduct periodic user access reviews alongside continuous control monitoring.
* Liaise with the business to implement associated process enhancements.
* Participate in projects or provide technical support relating to finance functions with any DoA or user provisioning dimension or impact.
* Provide internal and external audit support as required.
Other Activities
* Support company initiatives such as system integration projects.
* Perform any other duties as instructed by the Line Manager.
* ER Allowance – may be required to join the emergency response rota if needed.
