* Position: Teaching Assistant (KS1)
* Location: Leigh
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, term-time only)
* Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Your Role as a Teaching Assistant
As a Teaching Assistant in this KS1 class, you will:
* Support the class teacher with day-to-day activities and lessons
* Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to help children reach their potential
* Assist with phonics, reading, and basic maths work
* Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment
* Be an approachable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who contributes to the wider school community
What We\'re Looking For
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in KS1
* A calm, patient, and professional attitude
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* A genuine desire to grow and develop as a Teaching Assistant
