About the Role & Team
The Integration & Delivery Manager ensures SITA’s Borders integrated product set is fully deployed, validated, and ready before delivery into customer environments. Acting as the central facilitator, the manager oversees the flow of quality‑controlled, integrated product versions from development through to in‑country deployment, governing core integration environments and serving as the key link between product development, customer delivery, and support teams. The role champions T&E’s shift toward more innovative, automated, customer‑centric delivery.
What you’ll do
* Coordination and Enablement
o Serve as the communication hub for the status of integration environments and deployed products, reporting on performance metrics such as down‑times, reset times, and release progress.
o Facilitate collaboration among product developers, customer delivery teams, and test engineers to resolve issues.
o Enable customer delivery teams by providing them with product versions that meet stringent functional and non‑functional criteria.
* Managing the Core Product Pipeline
o Facilitate the seamless flow of product changes through integration environments.
o Coordinate a release calendar that balances functional and non‑functional testing with the demand for frequent, small‑batch upgrades.
o Minimize disruption to customer delivery by ensuring upgrades are stable, performant, and well‑communicated.
o Encourage continuous improvement by investigating deployment issues and feeding feedback to product teams, ensuring automation strategies are compatible.
* Integration Environment Strategy & Management
o Accountable for the smooth operation of integration environments, ensuring readiness for feature, regression, security, resilience, and compliance validation.
o Maintain infrastructure, configuration, data sets, telemetry, and testing tools.
o Ensure product builds deploy cleanly and pass tests to minimize issues during or after deployment to in‑country environments.
* Drive Continuous Improvement of the Integration Pipeline
o Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of integration paths using metrics to identify bottlenecks.
o Drive automation in testing streams to increase speed, reliability, and frequency of quality assessments.
o Foster a culture of shared responsibility for all quality attributes.
o Champion shift‑left approaches by identifying earlier test opportunities.
o Champion AI‑driven test optimisation, synthetic data generation, and AI/ML telemetry analysis to reduce execution time, improve coverage, and identify inefficiencies.
o Promote generative AI to create synthetic test data, reducing dependence on production‑like datasets.
* Identify and Encourage Cost and Efficiency Savings with AI
o Collaborate with DevOps to introduce anomaly detection models that identify unusual deployment and performance patterns.
o Integrate AI‑based root cause analysis tools with DevOps and QA teams to reduce MTTR for integration issues.
o Evaluate AI‑powered observability platforms to enhance monitoring, alerting, and predictive maintenance.
o Champion AI‑assisted documentation and knowledge management for faster onboarding.
o Track and report on AI‑driven efficiency gains such as reduced deployment times, fewer failures, and lower infrastructure costs.
