The Role:
Hampshire County Council’s Children’s Service is very highly regarded nationally and rated Outstanding by Ofsted. Our Children's Services Department provides a high quality and effective range of services for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
You will be a member of a close‑knit team that provides mutual support, structured on‑the‑job training, and a thorough induction into the service.
This is a full time position, 37 hours per week over 5 days, Monday - Friday.
What you’ll do:
This is an opportunity to apply your administrative skills and experience to the field of special educational needs. Duties within this role are varied and include supporting statutory SEN processes, dealing with correspondence, record keeping, use of IT systems including databases, and taking enquiries from families and professionals.

You will need to be flexible, well organised, enthusiastic, sensitive to the needs of the children and families we serve and a good team member. You should have strong communication and ICT skills (Microsoft Word) and be able to rise to the challenge of a busy and interesting work environment.
