Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Leader Education are recruiting a motivated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist primary school in Middlesbrough.
This outstanding, split-site provision supports pupils aged 4 to 11 with a diverse range of learning needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). With approximately 170 pupils across both sites, the school delivers a highly tailored, semi-formal curriculum within a structured and nurturing environment, led by an experienced and supportive staff team.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs, along with either relevant experience or strong transferable skills. Graduates are warmly encouraged to apply.
This role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

The successful candidate will:
* Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one
* Have a background working in education or relevant experience
* Experience working with children with SEND or vulnerable individuals
* Work effectively with parents, carers, and other members of multidisciplinary teams to provide the best support
* Be confident in working alongside students, ensuring they are fully supported within their learning and general classroom activities
* Possess communication skills that can be personalised to suit students of different abilities
