The Works

As our POS System Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our point-of-sale systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently across all venues. From managing day-to-day technical support to overseeing system updates and training, you’ll be the go-to expert for everything POS.

You’ll collaborate with venue teams, IT, and key departments to optimise functionality and ensure the system enhances both team experience and guest satisfaction.

System Management & Support

• Configure, manage, and maintain POS hardware and software across all venues
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime
• Provide timely and effective technical support to venue teams, both remotely and on-site
• Maintain user roles, permissions, and data security within the system
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for system updates, enhancements, and issue resolution

Training & Documentation

• Create and maintain clear, user-friendly guides and documentation for POS processes
• Deliver training for venue teams to support confident and consistent system use
• Support onboarding and ongoing learning by embedding POS knowledge into L&D platforms
• Keep all documentation current with system updates and business needs

Optimisation & Collaboration

• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and IT to ensure smooth data flow and reporting
• Analyse system data to identify and recommend improvements in performance and usability
• Support system rollouts, upgrades, and testing with a focus on user experience and business alignment
• Act as the voice of the end user in any system development or integration projects

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a POS administration or retail IT support role
• Technically confident with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Process-driven with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy
• Excellent communicator, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Skilled in documentation, training, and supporting teams in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative, with a customer-first mindset and a passion for service excellence
• Enthusiastic about hospitality and committed to enabling great guest experiences
