Multi Skilled Electrical bias Maintenance EngineerAlfreton, Derbyshire £48,000 ContisThe opportunityWe're partnering with an established manufacturer in Alfreton area to find an experienced Multi Skilled Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis. This is a key role within the site's maintenance function - keeping production equipment running efficiently through a mix of planned and reactive electrical maintenance. What you'll be doingPerforming planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown response on production machinery and electrical systemsFault-finding and diagnosing electrical issues across LV systems, PLCs, drives, and control panelsSupporting installation and commissioning of new equipment and process improvementsWorking collaboratively with mechanical maintenance colleagues on multi-discipline tasksMaintaining accurate maintenance logs and contributing to site improvement projectsWorking safely at all times in line with site health, safety, and environmental requirementsWhat we're looking forRecognised electrical qualification - City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, BTEC, ONC/HNC, or apprenticeship-trainedSolid maintenance experience within a manufacturing, processing, or industrial environmentStrong knowledge of LV electrical systems, motor drives (inverters/VFDs), and control panelsPLC fault-finding experience - Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley preferredAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawingsMulti-skilled engineers with mechanical awareness are particularly welcomeWhat's on offerCompetitive salary Permanent role with a stable, well-regarded local manufacturerVaried plant environment with genuine scope to developSupportive maintenance team and experienced managementOn-site parkingIf you feel this is of interest please send your CV directly to Dan at or call for a confidential discussion on
