Who Are We Looking For?
As our successful candidate, you will be:
* Organised, methodical, and passionate about delivering excellent work, right first time,
* IT literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office packages,
* Detail-oriented,
* Experienced in a similar Warehouse role,
* An expert in warehouse functions, stock management, goods in and out,
* Flexible and able to work independently as well as part of a team,
* Capable of demonstrating people management skills.
Your Role Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Warehouse Operations, as Warehouse Manager, you will oversee receiving and dispatching goods, ensuring operational activities support exceptional client service. You will be responsible for completing warehouse activities and managing expectations to meet operational objectives. Your responsibilities include:
* Providing key information to clients and account teams before and during projects, within agreed timescales.
* Collaborating with clients and account teams to identify business opportunities.
* Maintaining good knowledge of Insite (Momentum’s proprietary system) and other databases.
* Managing stock control, manpower, and storage space requirements.
* Reporting stock shortages or damages promptly.
* Conducting accurate stock checks as needed.
* Ensuring the safe storage of stock.
* Responding efficiently to requests from teams and managers.
* Resolving operational issues professionally, keeping relevant teams informed.
* Providing regular updates and reports as required.
* Identifying cost-saving opportunities and liaising with management.
* Ensuring all work meets high standards and KPI targets.
* Attending training and briefings.
* Managing the Warehouse Supervisor and temporary personnel, ensuring responsibilities are clear and tasks are completed.
