Summary
We are seeking a Head Housekeeper to join our team at Walsh's Hotel and The Wild Duck Inn in the heart of the hospitality industry. Responsibilities
* Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
* Train and manage housekeeping staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality.
* Develop cleaning schedules and allocate tasks effectively.
* Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
* Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
* Implement health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
* Assist in budgeting for housekeeping operations.
Skills
* Proven experience in hotel or hospitality management, particularly in housekeeping roles.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols.
* Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
* Previous janitorial experience is a plus but not mandatory.
