Job Title: Nursery Practitioner
Work as part of a small team to provide an outstanding nursery provision, teaching all seven areas of learning, planning for EYFS, and nurturing children in preparation for school. Support all children in setting aged 18 months to 5 years old.
Essential Criteria
* Qualification level: Level 3 or above childcare qualification
* Shift patterns: 8am-4pm, term time only
* Pay rates: £12.50 per hour
* Experience needed: Yes

Responsibilities
1. Stimulate children's interest and understanding of their physical and social environment through discussions and role play.
2. Foster cooperative social behaviors, lead games, and group projects to build satisfying relationships with others.
3. Encourage self-expression and appreciation of aesthetic experiences through singing, dancing, rhythmic activities, and art materials.
4. Support children's learning through periods of strenuous activity and rest or light activity.
5. Observe and detect signs of illness or emotional disturbance; evaluate progress; discuss concerns with parents; make referrals to counseling services; notify authorities if abuse is suspected.
6. Maintain quality standards by establishing, following, and enforcing policies.
7. Document educational outcomes and actions through reports, logs, and records.
8. Participate in professional development by engaging in educational opportunities, reading publications, and maintaining networks and memberships.
9. Contribute to the school's reputation by embracing new challenges and exploring opportunities to add value.
