JOB PURPOSE Following the separation from Unilever, TMICC is currently in a transition phase focused on developing advanced next-generation PLM and modernizing all technology stacks. A key milestone will be the successful implementation of these new systems across five Business Units worldwide by 2027. We are looking for an experienced R&D Digital Leader with a strong track record of managing innovation projects and driving product development within a business unit. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of business unit operations and how they interact with procurement, marketing, and supply chain functions. Hands-on experience with PLM and digital systems deployment is required. While this position sits in the Global Digital and Data team, everyday activities will be closely integrated with business units. As the BU digital & operational excellence lead in RD&I, the success candidate will collaborate with the global PLM team and BULT closely, ensuring each business unit achieves timely and thorough implementation and adoption without compromising BU innovation launch plans. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES PLM Transition & Operational Excellence in BU Own BU‑level PLM implementation, representing BU in PLM programme, ensuring milestones are achieved on time, in full, and to quality, aligned with the global deployment roadmap. Act as the primary BU interface to the Global PLM Lead and BULT stakeholders, escalating risks, dependencies, and support needs proactively. Drive deployment excellence with robust change management, trainings, champion network within BU, clear scope control, issue resolution, decision cadence. Business Integration & Value Protection Ensure PLM implementation does not compromise BU innovation throughput or launch plans. Align PLM rollout with BU innovation calendars, portfolio priorities, and operational realities. Champion data quality and governance discipline to enable reliable decisions in BU. Continuous Improvement & Digital Maturity Identify opportunities to improve RD&I operational efficiency, standardisation, and decision excellence using PLM, LIMS, and adjacent digital tools in BU contexts. Take charge of piloting AI and emerging technologies within business units. Feed BU learnings, improvement ideas, and pain points back into the global digital product roadmap. Support BU readiness for future digital capabilities beyond PLM. Lead BU‑level change management and adoption. Global Digital Operation Goverance Oversee budget, monitor spending, and align priorities within global digital & data. Assist each BU to establish an End-to-End Digitial plan linking to BU value creation. SKILLS & QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Digital, or related discipline. Extensive experiences in R&D digital transformation and product development roles in BU within FMCG or Food industry. Proven track record of PLM implementation and major R&D system deployment across multiple business units. Experience operating in global organizations during periods of major transformation. Understanding of formulation, specification management, regulatory compliance processes, artwork, master code creation and ERP processes. Strong understanding and experiences of BU product development governance and end-to-end digital & data thread in cross-functional operation. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, influencing senior leaders, and building networks of superusers/champions. Ability to lead change and drive digital adoption. Excellent communication skills to work across global teams and business units.
