Systems Engineer Our client, a high-technology business operating within the defence and security sector, delivers immersive training solutions, simulation, and defence consultancy. They are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to join their growing team based in Portsmouth. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and guide the design, development, and implementation of complex systems in line with defence acquisition best practice Work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure project and product requirements are met Prepare and present materials for project design reviews to internal and external stakeholders Provide engineering assistance in the management of subcontractors and review of supplier deliverables Develop, maintain, and control engineering documentation, including requirements documentation, system architectures, design documentation, test and acceptance plans, and bills of materials Provide technical input and assistance to projects and the wider business Conduct feasibility studies and produce technical reports Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal engineering processes Job Requirements Previous experience in a Systems Engineering role Demonstrated experience specifying, designing, developing, and implementing complex systems through to delivery Strong knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and associated practices Ability to interpr...
