A well-established two-form entry primary school in Manchester is seeking a professional and personable Reception & Attendance Officer to join its dedicated support staff team. The Role

Working closely with the School Business Manager and Headteacher, you will oversee reception duties and lead on attendance administration.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and external agencies
• Managing daily attendance processes using the school’s MIS system
• Monitoring absence patterns and supporting early intervention procedures
• Maintaining accurate pupil records in line with safeguarding policies
• Handling telephone, email and in-person enquiries professionally
• Supporting admissions administration and pupil data updates

The role requires calm professionalism and the ability to manage competing priorities throughout the school day.

• Have previous experience in school administration or attendance management

Experience within a primary school setting would be advantageous.
