ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB
Reporting to the Supply Chain Finance Manager, the Finance Analyst – Supply Chain will manage the financial aspects of Inventory Control. The role provides business partnering to Warehouse Inventory Controllers alongside providing analysis of business losses and assisting operational teams to manage these costs within budget. In addition, the analyst will manage fees impacting the supply chain cost base.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Stock Management
1. Primary finance support to stock controllers, covering: finished goods / concentrate / resin and preforms / cans / other raw materials
2. Working capital - inventory valuations - reports issued for last week of month to all management on current levels of Inventory
3. Organise and attend half yearly stock counts – manage independent counter participation, ensuring all areas are counted and count differences are followed up
4. Perform concentrate reconciliation and liaise on results with
5. External and internal audit requirements for inventory control
Business Losses
6. Ensure all stock losses are posted for the month
7. Oversee the stock provision/accrual postings by shared service centre
8. Provide accurate stock loss reports monthly, deep diving into variances v plan and working with operational teams to drive process improvements
9. Raise approval authorization requests for quarterly stock losses and see through all approval steps
Fees
10. Budget for, manage actual posting and timely payment of fees incurred within COGS (Environmental fees, DRS fees and deposits, EPR fees, plastic tax).

Essential Criteria
13. Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA etc)
14. Location can be Knockmore Hill or Huntstown office based, although there will be a requirement for significant time to be spent in KMH
15. Excellent communication skills both written and oral
16. Excellent Microsoft Office/Excel and MS Access Skills
17. Continuous Improvement and Strive for Simplicity Mindset
18. Proven ability to work under pressure cross functionally and achieving competing deadlines in a time pressured environment
19. Proven stakeholder management and business partnering skills
20. Ability to effectively prioritise workload and successfully deal with ad hoc requests from multiple stakeholders
21. Comfortable navigating complexity and uncertainty and a proven ability to conduct analysis with sometimes incomplete information
Desired Criteria
22. 1 years PQE desirable
23. Knowledge of SAP ERP, BW and Power BI
24. Supply chain finance experience
25. Exposure to managing financial aspects of Inventory Control / Business Losses
