Our client is a UK company with global operations in engineering technology design, development and manufacturing. Its building a brand-new Enterprise Applications function and this is your opportunity to shape it from the ground up.
It has disparate HR, Finance, Engineering & Quality applications across the global and a new enterprise applications strategy, led by Group IT, to optimise & standardise and tools and processes across sites.
It needs an experienced Applications Manager to make it happen - someone who loves turning complexity into clarity and making a lasting impact. Through optimising & standardising, ensuring HR, Finance, Engineering & Quality applications are fit for purpose with governance, visibility and cost control, youll help to drive value in the business.
Its a chance to bring order to complexity, create alignment across global sites, and lay the foundations for a five-year roadmap of enterprise applications.
Youll need to lead through influence, build relationships across global teams, and help the business adopt new ways of working. Lead a small team of Business Analysts, working across HR, Finance, Engineering and Quality, embedding methodology and best practice.
Shape and deliver the Enterprise Applications strategy balancing quick wins with long-term transformation.
Career growth: Youre already an experienced Applications Manager, Functional Applications Lead, or Business Systems Manager. Experience in the manufacturing sector, ideally with roots in business analysis
Proven people management and leadership of Business Analysts or project teams.
Strong understanding of business processes across HR, Finance, Engineering and / OR Quality.
Experience in project management (mix of Waterfall and Agile).
Work from home / remote in ENGLAND with visits to UK sites and occasional international travel (typically two short trips per year).
