Responsibilities
* Assess and triage patients to provide accurate respiratory therapies and interventions.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with physicians.
* Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies to optimize outcomes.
* Support pipeline-based territory planning and meet defined performance targets.
* Operate and maintain respiratory equipment with strict adherence to safety protocols.
* Document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team.
* Participate in performance measurement and quality improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, clinical, and organizational policies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient care and handoffs.
* Identify opportunities for professional development and pursue certifications.
* Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, therapies, and self-management.
Experience/Qualifications
* Respiratory Therapist (RT) with active state license.
* Clinical assessment skills to triage and initiate appropriate therapies.
* Develop and adjust individualized patient treatment plans with physician collaboration.
* Performance-driven mindset with ability to meet pipeline-based targets.
* Compliance with regulatory, clinical, and organizational policies; HIPAA awareness.
* Experience with respiratory equipment setup, calibration, and safety protocols.
* Comprehensive documentation of patient progress and handoffs in EHR systems.
* Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and seamless patient transitions.
* Quality improvement participation and data-driven practice enhancements.
* Professional development focus; pursuit of relevant certifications (e.g., specialty areas).
* Patient and family education on respiratory conditions and self-management.
* On-site availability with the ability to handle high-visibility workload and metrics.
