The Role
As Interim Building Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day building operations, ensuring compliance across hard services and supporting the mobilisation of the site post-refurbishment. You will be the first point of contact for occupiers and service partners, delivering best-in-class standards while managing stakeholder and landlord engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee all hard services including HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems

Manage and optimise BMS systems to ensure efficient building operations

Deliver on compliance and service charge obligations with full accountability
*
Build strong client-facing relationships with occupiers, stakeholders, and service partners
*
Support mobilisation plans to ensure a smooth transition once refurbishment completes
*
Contribute to the management of a prestigious, heritage asset while upholding operational excellence
Candidate Profile
*
Strong technical knowledge of hard services and BMS systems
*
Previous experience in service charge management and compliance
*
Excellent communication skills with a track record of client-facing stakeholder engagement
*
Experience managing heritage or complex, high-profile buildings is highly advantageous
*
Hands-on approach, able to step into a busy environment and add value quickly
