What’s the job?
* Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring safety and operational guidelines are followed.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to understand specifications.
* Set up tooling and fixtures, including installing cutting tools per job specifications.
* Conduct inspections of finished products using measuring instruments to ensure quality and accuracy.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and efficiency.
* Maintain a clean and safe workspace, complying with health and safety regulations.
Who can do this?
* Understanding of Heidenhain and Siemens controls
* Experience setting and operating various CNC machining centres
* Strong basic mathematics skills for measurements and calculations
* Familiarity with materials handling in manufacturing environments
* Knowledge of tooling requirements for machining
* Toolmaking knowledge is advantageous
* Commitment to maintaining precision in all tasks
