This role is working on the Wales and Western Rail Capital Projects Programme
As a Risk Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:
* Facilitate and deliver Cost and Schedule Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) using @Risk and Safran to model uncertainty and provide probabilistic forecasts.
* Maintain and govern risk registers, ensuring risks from workshops and interviews are accurately captured, updated, and aggregated for escalation where necessary.
* Lead risk workshops and stakeholder interviews to identify, assess, and prioritise risks across major projects and programs.
* Analyse risk data to produce clear, actionable reports and executive briefings, supporting strategic decision-making and governance boards.
* Collaborate with managers and risk practitioners to embed risk management practices and ensure alignment across portfolios.
* Drive continuous improvement in risk frameworks, tools, and methodologies, providing training and mentoring to project teams.
Essential:
* Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills with experience in major project environments. (Construction or Infrastructure)
* Proficiency in risk management tools including @Risk, Safran Risk, and data analytics platforms.
* Ability to translate complex risk data into clear insights for senior leadership.
