Responsibilities
As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our Service Users maintain independence and enjoy fulfilling lives at home. Your day-to-day tasks may include:
* Supporting Service Users with personal care needs such as washing, dressing, and incontinence care.
* Encouraging independence and involvement in daily routines.
* Preparing meals and snacks to support nutritional needs.
* Assisting with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean, safe home environment.
* Accompanying Service Users to appointments or community activities.
* Providing companionship and emotional support.
Shift patterns
We offer flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle and commitments. Current opportunities include, but are not limited to:
* Mornings / Lunch (typically between 7:00am – 3:00pm)
* Tea time / Evenings (typically between 3:00pm – 10:00pm)
* Full days (with appropriate breaks)
* Flexible availability across weekdays and alternate weekends
* Location: we aim to provide clients as close to you as possible
* Flexibility to get your work/life balance right with fixed working days and alternate weekends
Requirements & benefits
Along with a superhero personality, we also require a clear Enhanced DBS and two satisfactory references.
Any previous training records and health and social qualifications for the role would be of great benefit. Kelly Park Limited offers support with training/qualifications and continued professional development.
Pay & benefits
* Pay: up to £13.70 per hour, £14.50 on bank holidays
* Early Pay: access your pay before payday via our bespoke service
* 50p mileage allowance paid
* Pension scheme
* Holidays: 5.6 weeks per annum (pro-rata)
* Full paid practical training including induction & shadowing
